A pair of Chinese gilt lacquered seated Buddha figures, dating from the Qing dynasty. The larger one has lost much gilt but retains detail, a smile on the face with eyes lowered in meditation, both hands interlocked in his lap, and seated in the lotus position. Smaller Buddha also seated with hands in lap and head lowered with eyes closes.

Condition: both in good condition, larger Buddha with losses of gilding ,still retaining much detail, typical wood crack and nicks to the edge
