France, Empire period, Triumphal Chariot of Telemachus, bronze gilded triumphal chariot, depicting Telemachus on his chariot and pulled by two patinated horses, at the front of the chariot is the head of a roaring lion, the clockwork is in the chariot wheel, 8 days Spring-driven movement with anchor escapement and pendulum with silk suspension, half-hourly striking mechanism on bell, blued steel pointer, length 45 cm.
