Large Chinese lacquered bakul siah wedding basket, bent bamboo handle, over three tiers of stacked round boxes/ baskets, lacquered black ground decorated with gilt foliates, the uppermost lid with landscape scene, accented with red-lacquered wicker and caned cartouches, approx 18.5"h, 14.25"w, 13"d, 8.2lbs **Provenance: The Mount Bonnell estate of a prominent designer**
