Description: Large oil on canvas portrait of William Burdon-Muller by Henry Harris Brown, 1899. Full-length portrait of Muller, a prosperous Santiago, Chilean trader who also lived in London's Hillside neighborhood on Green Street. shown in the artist's studio with a red drape behind and a cream suit, white waistcoat, red necktie, and panama hat on. Fine signed and framed example of the artist's work. Having been in the family since it was first painted on commission, the piece is new to the market. Size: about 35" by 22" when framed.
