Edwin Douglas, British, 1848 to 1914, an antique etching on paper Leading the Flock, engraved by E. A. Wright, Phila. Circa the early 20th century. Signed lower left. Matted and framed. Note: Edwin James Douglas was an Animal and Portrait ?ainter. Edwin Douglas lived in Edinburgh and studied at the Royal Scottish Academy Schools. He first exhibited at the Royal Scottish Academy itself in 1865, subjects in his early years being Scottish genre and historical scenes. Antique Etchings, European Graphic Art Prints And Multiples.
