A Lega Mask Democratic Republic of Congo, c. early 20th century An oval shape with pointed chin, deeply carved heart-shaped facial plane with raised eyes and nose. An incised line outlining eyebrows. The eye lids and lips have short vertical incisions. The face with remains of white pigment. Perforated around lower jaw for attachment of a fiber beard.
