Description
A Luba Kifwebe Mask Democratic Republic of Congo, c. 20th century Wood with white, black, and pink natural earth pigments. Mostly incised in rectilinear patterns painted white, the eyes and nose bridge in black, pink on squared end of mouth. The square tube from mouth to interior has been filled. In fair condition, crack on proper right side of face, repaired cracks and a chunk of back broken off and repaired, erosion and weathering throughout.
