Pre-Columbian, West Mexico, Chupicuaro, ca. 500 to 100 BCE. A set of 2 hand-built pottery tripod bowls - the first bowl with solid legs and 3 bands of red zigzags, and the larger features hollow legs and wide triangular windows on a red ground filled with red stippling. Size of largest: 8.24" Diameter x 4.75" H (20.9 cm x 12.1 cm)

Condition
Both vessels with repair and restoration, and resurfacing with overpainting along new material and break lines. Each vessel with chips to rim as well as abrasions and fading to original pigment. Nice decorative patterns.
