A chinese EXTREMELY RARE KESI EMBROIDERED DRAGON ROBE longpao
The robe is finely embroidered with roundels of five-clawed dragons chasing 'flaming pearls', each worked in gold metallic threads with horns, scales and claws picked out in Peking knot, all beneath vaporous clouds and above roiling waves. The lower register is embroidered with a lishui stripe at the hem tossed with auspicious emblems.
