Since 1870 Main Auction Galleries Inc. has grown from a small family business to a nationally recognized Auction House. We are located in the finest area of downtown Cincinnati, within 3 blocks of all major hotels and restaurants. Our building comprises over 40,000 square feet, with our first floor being both our showroom and auction floor. Our reputation for honesty, integrity and professionalism is known not only in this region but nationally as well as worldwide. We work closely with attorneys, executors, trust officers, institutions, organizations, private consignors as well as individuals. We both appraise and liquidate estates and homes throughout the United States. We have provided the highest quality merchandise to local, national and international individuals for the past 139 years. We have a full time staff each being an expert in their respective fields.

Awesome to work with!
We bought a ginormous antique sideboard that was HEAVY! They were ready for us when we arrived and all but loaded it for us. These folks are super on-the-ball!

Very Helpful and They Worked to Rectify a Problem
I purchased a vase from Main Auction Galleries and was dissatisfied with the purchase. They worked to rectify the problem and ultimately found an equitable solution. I wouldn't hesitate to purchase from them again.

Nice items and good service, but no in-house shipping.
All items were as described and pictured and invoicing and transfer to their third-party shipper was fast. I have had some bad experiences with overpriced third-party shippers, but Elliot at Safe Ship NKY got my items shipped quickly at a reasonable price.

Can't think of anything pertinent...
This was my first auction, and Justin could not have been more helpful in explaining the bidding process. On the day of the auction I was lucky enough to win the bid, and from there on in, everything was pretty much seamless. I will be back. Thank you.
