Description
Western Asia, probably made in Khorassan, east Persia (Iran) / west Afghanistan, Seljuq (Saljuq / Seljuk) period, ca. 12th to 13th century CE. A beautiful pottery bowl decorated in the distinctive style of Bamiyan ware (also Bamyan) with a scrolling relief design adorning the interior walls, all enveloped in pale blue green glaze and a band of black underpainting lining the rim. Size: 6.5" Diameter x 3.1" H (16.5 cm x 7.9 cm)

Condition
Professionally repaired with some small areas of chipping along visible break lines, as well as perforation on one side near base. Great presentation with wonderful preservation of glaze and lovely iridescence and craquelure in areas.
