Two folk art Black dolls. The first, a hand made topsy-turvy White/Black cloth doll, all hand sewn, early to mid 20th century - good condition - 18"L; the second, a paper mache Black doll in original hand made costume, circa 1900 - note that the feet appear to be stuffed with gravel or beans or something similar - 19 1/2"L - loss to paper mache on back of head as the stuffed stocking head is exposed (see photo).
