A group of miscellaneous tie-dye fabric items, dyed by The Lovin' Spoonful founder, John Sebastian.

This lot includes a yellow velvet blanket featuring a tie-dye design, no size or label present; a pair of grey denim flare pant legs with tie-dyed knee patches sewn on, no size or label present; a single pant leg featuring a yellow and pink tie-dye pattern, no size or label present; and a single shirt sleeve cuff featuring a blue tie-dye pattern, no size or label present.

These items were dyed, c. late 1960s- early 1970s, at the 46-acre artistic community near Studio City called "The Farm." According to Sebastian, after he ran out of clothing to tie-dye, he would dye anything else within reach including sheets, socks, undergarments, and blankets like the one included in this lot. Sebastian would then use them/hang them up in the tent he lived in on the property.
