A suit jacket custom-made for Martin Gore and worn on stage during Depeche Mode's "Tour of the Universe" world tour, specifically on June 20th, 2009 at the TW Classic at Festivalpark, Werchter, Belgium. The tour ran across 102 shows from 2009-2010, and supported Depeche Mode's Sounds of the Universe album released in 2009.

The jacket was made in metallic Lurex couture, leather, glitter, and Lurex thread, and was designed by Sara Freegard, cut and made by Sir Tom Baker with "Sir Tom Baker, London" labels present. No size present.

Freegard, a designer and stylist who trained at St Martins School of Art and Fashion Design, and created Gore's costumes for Depeche Mode's world tours for over 30 years, stated in an interview: "It was a first for Martin Gore to wear a costume-made jacket and vest, albeit Teddy Boy style. However, it was made in the Depeche Mode movement, that is to say dark and sexy."

The design inspiration behind the jacket came from "Cosmic Teddy Boys," The Rock 'n' Roll Showman, There were several iterations of the jacket employed throughout the tour of varying, but consistent, styling.
