Description

These rings were worn by Pilgrims to the Holy Land in the 9th century. Good wearable size 11 1/4 with rounded face tapered band 2.9mm, flaring to the shoulders. Raised rounded square bezel cut with a diamond on the hatched field, representing the Star of Bethlehem which at this time was depicted as a diamond shape based on the earlier star of Mars, Roman Goddess of War. Professionally refurbished with the 24karat gold surface restored.
