Description
A Tairona Gold Pendant Colombia, c. 700-1400 AD Solid gold alloy (tumbaga). The pendant consists of two insects (?) with pincer mouths, large bead eyes, and wide tails. Their backs are bowl shapes, large for the bodies. Two suspension loops on the underside of heads. A rare and unusual pendant. In excellent condition.
