Description
A c.1960 Oscar Schmidt 15EBH/R autoharp, Birdseye maple top with Sunburst finish. Owned and played by John Sebastian, and used on many recordings by The Lovin’ Spoonful including “Do You Believe in Magic,” and “You Didn’t Have to be So Nice.” Previously on display at The Met Museum. 15 chord model, operated by depressing felt-lined bars which make contact with the strings, muting undesired strings while leaving others open, which form the desired chord. Wired with a pickup, volume control, and 1/4” output jack. Includes non-original padded bag, missing tuning wrench.
