Sent a print that I did not purchase and are making it very difficult if not impossible to rectify the situation

received the wrong item and their only resolution is for me at my expense to ship it back when all I want is the item I purchased

Apparently the Painting was "damaged" so they unilaterally cancelled the transaction. I would have liked to have the option to complete the purchase. I think that because I bought it at the starting bid that t he seller did not honor the auction! I will let everyone know my beliefs and to not use this auction house our your service e. Steve

It took over 3 weeks to receive the item. There wasn't any communication until I contacted them.

Quality of item was listed as good and photo of item did not show any damage to the frame. However, when art was received there was a huge gouge/chip in the bottom of the frame and the frame was in very poor condition. Had to pay $300 to reframe item. Will not buy from this auction house again.

They did not contact me after the auction regarding shipping. I contacted them 3 weeks after I won the auction to find out when I would receive my item. They told me the item was with the shipper. The shipper told me they did not have it yet. I sent another email to the auction house and they never responded. I don't think I'll buy anything from them again.

No body answers emails from th Uk when a querry or problems. This is supposed to an international house. It has a on EBay yet many refuse to ship Many have standards rates go packing and shipping. I bought s $20 dollar picture. I told him I had. A FED EX import account snd. Gave my account no. He said it was too far. He gave me three name. UOS could Not answer his friend Raymei said he couldn't do it. I call FED EX at Daytona beach. There were three offices in a square mile. They all said they pack box and deliver in 3 days I thought HICKVILLE IN THIER DUNGEREERS HAD LONG FINISHED. YOU WEAR STRAW HATS TOO??

I have not received the item purchased.

The lot I bought at their auction was completely different to what was sent out to me. The lot I bought (Lot 565) had a value estimate of between 5.5-6 thousand dollars. I won the bid paid for it plus then paid insurance and shipping. When it arrived I immediately saw how different the drawing was and that I had been duped!-I felt conned and hugely disappointed. There are 2 key things here-if the picture was not available then it should NOT have been on the site-this is misrepresentation. When shipping the item-the auction house (Fine Art Auctions) should have noticed that it was not the same item at all but a complete fake. I would suggest someone has purposely done this and committed fraud. I have waited for you to take this matter seriously before I report it to the USA authorities.

I won a bid on a watercolor but the auction house does not appear to exist. I received no responses to our emails including an invoice.

No communication on status of my item until I contacted them. Very slow shipping process.

I never got the Picture!!!!!!!

The auction house claimed the works of art to be originals and would provide certificate of authenticity. However, the certificates of authenticity provided were unofficial and we're printed as if a ten year old had used word to print his own certificate. Not very professional at all and now I have to pay to have them authenticated in Europe and probably will turn out to be fakes or counterfeits. This quality of work and this auction house should not be a part of any serious auction and will ruin the reputation of liveauctioneers.

They sent me an item that wasn't the one I bid and won. Inside the shipping box was a half ********** attempt to tell me that my item was damaged and they took it upon themselves to pick another art piece by the same artist. I am very dissatisfied ********** Reilly

Item received was not as described and shown on the LiveAuction website-see https://www.liveauctioneers.com/item/********** 0_lithograph-after-georges-braque. The print shown was signed and numbered, and was advertised as being signed. A detail of the signature (in addition to the plate signature) was shown. The print received was neither signed nor numbered. I have attempted to contact the auction house but they have not responded. If this is not remedied, I will take legal action for fraud in order to recover my money. Because interstate commerce is involved this becomes a federal case. I suggest you bar this particular auction house from your site since keeping them under these circumstances risks your being listed as an accessory to these illegal bait and switch practices.
