Is this how bids get cooked?
I've done a lot of bidding on LiveAuctioneers, and this is the first time I've asked myself if the bids were cooked (ie, MiddleMan had a way of running up my bid "hypothetically," before the real auction took place, so that I was effectively bidding against myself. I can't prove it, but I wonder. I'll be taking precautions next time.

We run our auction on 2 platforms (Invaluable and Live Auctioneers). When you see the bids go up, it is from bidders from the other platform. There are also absentee (left bids). We run an honest sale and everything starts at $1 and ends when the bidding ends. In your case, there was a bidder on Invaluable that bid against you.

Love the piece
I got this for my mother as a gift and she said it’s the most perfect Limoges box she has. And she has a lot. They were able to ship quickly. My only issue was the shipping was high considering how small and inexpensive the piece was. But in the end was worth it.

Beware of the insane amount of fees and inaccuracy of charges.
I bought an item and after the insane amount of fees and shipping chargers it was over doubled what I paid for the time and they sent me an invoice of on amount and charged me a different amount. I did email and they were snarky so beware.

Ease of transaction
Accurate and professional. The best aspect is the in + house shopping. Easy, time saving and very reasonable.
