fair pricing and would buy from them again

They charge you pretty exorbitant shipping fees at this place. The box charge is ridiculously high, they charge you a ridiculous amount for “materials”, and then they charge you an hourly rate for packaging the item! Just be warned that you’re gonna pay a LOT here to have your items shipped. I won’t be back.

I won a guitar through the auction for $110, ended up paying $142 after taxes and Costea fees. Costea then said they would send shipping cost. A week later, I got the shipping invoice-and additional $150. This auction expected the customer to pay $300 total for an item they won for $110. I called and got terrible customer service, interrupting me, saying I was wasting their time. This is an office of maybe four or five people. You can hear them laughing and commenting in the background. Just a terrible experience overall. Unprofessional. They tried to say the high cost of shipping was due to the guitar crossing the Mississippi River. Then they tried to say any cheaper shipping costs from their region where likely due to other guitars being shipped in bulk. I informed Costea (The original employee and then the lead/supervisor/manager-both provided the same. Rude terrible customer service) that I bought four guitars recently, one from Japan that had $100 shipping, and one from Costeas region in New York that had $40 shipping, all single guitars from individual owners. So I basically caught this company in their scam, their customer service was terrible to boot. Do not use this company, it's unfortunate that live auctioneers chooses to work with this vendor. I reached out to live auctioneers as well, they sent back a canned response apology, and basically that the auction has the ability to charge whatever they want for shipping. I was really looking forward to purchasing products off of these auctions, I will never go back to live auctioneers or, especially, Costea Auctions, ever again. Avoid.
