Briggs has good item descriptions and has made it easy to bid, pay and pick up. Their staff is helpful, friendly, competent and professional.

GOOD: Briggs offers fresh merch, nice variety, good parking, easy to find, great food across the street at the farm market. I always read their adverts. BAD: Auctioneers are slow, slow, slow & very chatty. Theirs is very slow moving auction.

Shipping was outrageous, l don’t believe it was that high. Somebody is over charging, more like robbery. 40.00 for a small box????. Is your name Robbin hood?

The albums were fantastic. Didn't have a single one. The picture disc's are worth a good thousand dollars. The other 45s were Beatle related, and didn't have a single one. Excellent all around.

The check out process, process to get item to a UPS Store was simple, quick and painless. 12 days after auction close and I have my item in hand. Could not get any better.

I give them a 9 out of ten, because nobody's perfect. Magazines were packed carefully, all brilliant, and in not so bad condition for their age. Especially happy with the Rolling Stone and Newlife. Excellent all around. The rate of exchange with the US dollar against the Canadian dollar was a big ouch! Had to pay duties. But the UPS Store did their best to keep it low. All in all, super to deal with Briggs.

More pictures and a little bit more about the item would be good. The color was off just a bit, but well done over all. The staff is very helpful during pick-ups and I really much appreciate that. Helpful pick staff make a huge difference in what auctions I attend as I am a dealer. I would like if Briggs had more fine antique and arts auctions such as this. It was quite enjoyable. It's rare I see so many thing I've never seen before. My customers love unusual pieces.

They sold me a camera and two lenses. The description and photos did not show it, but the camera turned out to have missing parts, and one of the lenses was jammed onto it. My repairman says both are junk! When I emailed them, they did not even have the courtesy to respond. I am through with Briggs, and you should not promote their auctions, as it gives you a bad name, too. Frank 303/********************

Competent, professional and super nice people at Briggs. It was my first experience with the auction and I was very pleased.

They sold me a trumeau mirror made of plastic. not in description. also sold me an abbatant with 5 locked drawers. No Key. not in description. haven't even had time to inspect rugs. I buy long distance and rely on descriptions.
