Auctioneer's Note: This auction will include the collection of the late Ms. Jean Van Buuren Of New York. Her collection spanning more than 30 years. Ms. Van Buuren lived in South Africa from 1980-1985 and acquired the pieces of Shona art bringing it back with her to New York. All pieces were exhibited at The Exhibition of Shona Art "The Laura Collection" Rosebank, July 4th- July20th 1985.
