Kaminski Auctions is pleased to present several important paintings and furnishings that have descended through the John Quincy Adams family to the descendents of Brooks Adams of Boston, MA, son of Charles Francis Adams Sr. John Quincy Adams, 6th President of the United States was son of John Adams, 2nd president of the United States and Abigail Adams. His son Charles Francis Adams Sr. served as Ambassador to England during the Civil War. Brooks Adams is the son of Charles Francis Adams Sr. The collection includes an important Neoclassical chest, a painting of the H.M.S. Victory by R.S. Thomas dated 1838, a nautical painting of the John Quincy Adams signed with monogram and much more?
