Prehistoric and Historic Artifact Auction

We are very pleased to offer the second and final portion of the Guy Ragusa Collection. The Ragusa collection is a very nice assemblage of various artifact types. It consists of Axes, Pipes, Birdpoints, Discoidals and more. Of special note, the Daltons from the Ragusa Dalton frame have been saved until this final auction. This sale will also feature fine Midwestern flint from the Dr. Joe Otten Collection. Fine Decaturs, Dovetails, Lost Lakes and more are being sold to the highest bidder. Most of the Otten artifacts have an authentication paper from a nationally recognized authenticator. In this auction grouping, there are a number of fine Bannerstones (including an Eccentric Bannerstone pictured in the Payne Book). Several Birdstones grace this sale, including two pictured Birds once in the Townsend Collection. There is a broad variety of prehistoric artifacts being offered - Discoidals, Axes, Pipes and more. A rare Engraved Sandstone Spool from the Townsend Collection (pictured in his collection in Prehistoric American) will be sold. One of the finest Historic Disk Pipes we've seen will be in this auction. Last, but not least, eight North Blades from the Dr. James Reed Cache will be sold individually. Large and fine, they come with good collector history. There is something for everyone in this auction. Don't miss a chance to add several fine artifacts to your collection.
