Auctioneers in partnership with Altered Reality Entertainment and Travis Landry are proud to announce our Spring Toy, Comic, and Comic Art Auction with over 340 lots taking place Saturday, April 28th at 11:00am. The auction will open with 87 lots of vintage Star Wars featuring a selection from the collection of David Montauck, Brooklyn, New York highlighted by a 1985 Power of The Force AT-AT Driver AFA 85. Other highlights from the Montauck collection will include a 1977 Luke Skywalker theater display and seventeen other Power of The Force graded figures. Other Star Wars highlights include a 1978 Star Wars Power Passers Duel at Death Star Race Set CAS 85 and Droids Series Tig Fromm CAS 70+. The second portion of the catalog will offer an eclectic mix of vintage American toys highlighted by a CAS high-grade set of 1988 Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. The set of ten will be sold individually and are early production variants. Other toy highlights include a 1964 GI Joe Action Pilot Dress Uniform set and 1950's Knickerbocker Humpty Dumpty dart gun set. The third portion of the catalog will offer over 220 lots of Golden, Silver, Bronze, and Modern Age comics and original artwork. Golden Age comic highlights include a Timely Comics Sub-Mariner Comics issue 24 CBCS 8.0 and DC Comics Superman issue 46 CBCS 9.0. Other Golden Age highlights include DC Comics Batman issue 44 CBCS 8.5, Timely Comics Sub-Mariner Comics issue 22 CBCS 8.5, and Timely Comics Young Allies issue 9 CBCS 6.5. Comic art is highlighted by Avengers issue 69, page 16 original artwork by Sal Buscema and Sam Grainger featuring the first appearance of the Grandmaster and original Justice League Vol. 2 and Superman Unchained double splash pages by Jim Lee and Scott Williams.Silver age to present comics will be highlighted by a Marvel Comics Strange Tales issue 110 CGC 4.5 and Marvel Comics Uncanny X-Men issue 145 CBCS 9.9.
