The Traditional Collector

John Moran Auctioneers proudly presents their July Traditional Collector auction, comprising 378 lots of Continental paintings and furniture; a substantial collection of fine French, Swiss, and English clocks; Chinese and Japanese pottery, porcelain, bronzes, carvings and furniture; English, American and Continental silver and objects of virtu; and much more. Just over 100 of the lots on offer come from the estate of life-long collector and connoisseur of fine antique clocks, Harry J. O?Connor III of Laguna Beach, CA (February 3, 1944 ? March 3, 2016). Jerry (as his friends and family called him) amassed a veritable treasure trove of interesting and beautiful art and objects throughout his lifetime, and was forever improving and adding to his collections. John Moran Auctioneers is honored to have been chosen to handle the pieces Jerry cherished most, including his exceptional assemblage of clocks.
