Donald & Carrol Lyle Collection - DAY 2

Don and Carrol Lyle (of Washington state) began collecting glassware years ago with their focus being on articles produced by the C.F. Monroe Company. The Lyles loved the quality of the Wave Crest, Cut Glass, and other items created by Monroe and managed to assemble one of the foremost collections in the country featuring C.F. Monroe items. Don and Carrol were well-known in both the American Cut Glass Association and the Wave Crest Collectors Club, and many of their items have been featured in books and other publications as well as in museum exhibits. This one-of-a-kind collection will now be sold at public auction to the highest bidders without reserve. Highlighting this impressive two-day auction are 350 lots of Wave Crest, Nakara, and Kelva – AND over 300 lots of American Brilliant Cut Glass which have an equally significant role in this superb auction.
