Swann Galleries’ Tuesday, October 19 sale of Important 19th & 20th Century Photographs is rich in Civil War material and classic images by renowned photographers. The auction opens with a large selection of 19th century items, including an assortment of fine daguerreotypes and images by Mathew Brady, Lewis Carroll and Carleton Watkins.
