Potter & Potter Auctions will conduct its second auction of magic ephemera and memorabilia from the collection of Jay Marshall on April 26th, 2009 in suburban Chicago. Previews will be held on April 25th. Of special note is a selection of Houdiniana including several typed letters, signed, with obscure information related to the great escape artist's career, an outstanding selection of apparatus dating to the turn of the 20th century, and one of 20 original copies of Dai Vernon's famous "Twenty Dollar Manuscript." Several rare lithographs, and unusual, scarce magic apparatus will also be offered in the auction. Illustrated catalogs will be available on or before April 1, 2009.
