Estate of Dr. Solomon Stone, No Reserve!

Featuring a select number of rare pieces including Japanese art, Chinese antiques and bronze from the Estate of Dr. Solomon Stone, Valley Cottage, NY Dr. Solomon Stone worked professionlly as a clinical psychologist and a professor at Brooklyn College. He was a noted close-up magician, famous for coin magic. Sol, as he magicians. He was involved in the art for more than ninety years. Sol and his wife Alice were married for seventy-five years. They shared their hobby of collecting Asian art, starting back in the sixties. They traveled twice to Japan - once on a lecture tour about magic where he was the guest speaker. Sol and Alice made many trips to New England looking to add to their collection. Sol passed away in March at age ninety-eight. Alice pre-deceased him by eighteen months. Sol was buried with military honors having been awarded a Purple Heart and Distinguised Flying Cross as a WWII navigator.
