August Asian Art and Antiques: Session 1

Oakridge is pleased to announce its August Asian Art & Antiques sale packed with an array of impressive lots of Chinese art from throughout history. Scheduled for August 14-15, 2021, this auction will feature over 450 lots separated into two sessions: Session 1 beginning at 10 am EDT on August 14th, and Session 2 beginning at 10 am EDT on August 15th. Boasting over 200 lots, Session 1 is packed with amazing lots of Chinese art dating from the Spring & Autumn period through to the modern day. There are beautiful carvings in all shapes, sizes, and types of jade, and delicate porcelains that are rare and highly sought after. The highlight of the session is an exquisite Chinese blue and white porcelain zun vase depicting delicate lotus and vine tracery. Other lots in this session include a mutton fat jade table screen dating from the 19th century, a large white jade carving of a fish dating from the Ming Dynasty, and a celadon-ground porcelain censer dating from the early 19th century.
