Doyle will hold an auction of English & Continental Furniture & Decorative Arts on Wednesday, October 13, 2021 at 10am. The sale will showcase a broad selection of elegant furniture, porcelain, mirrors, clocks, chandeliers, tapestries and rugs from prominent estates and collections. Special sections of the auction are devoted to property from the Estate of photographer and antiquarian Roger Prigent (lots 1-112) and the Estate of fashion designer Herbert Kasper (lots 308-320). Highlighting the auction is an important Roman marble figure of Aphrodite of the Gardens dating to the first century AD from the Estate of Herbert Kasper.
