Vintage Movie Posters - 1920's - 1980s

Details We are pleased to present Day 1 of a two-day auction, liquidating a lifetime collection of vintage movie posters and related memorabilia. Most of the 1940's thru 1970's movie posters came from a collection of Princess Theatre memorabilia. All of these posters were purchased from theater owners or employees, and are guaranteed to be authentic. The 1970's and 1980's posters were mostly purchased in Ohio. Viewing Notes Mint (10.0) A poster that may have never been used or displayed. May show very slight signs of age. On folded poster, minimal signs of wear to the exterior edge. A poster should have no holes or tears. Near Mint (9.4) A very lightly used poster w fresh saturated colors. On folded posters, may show minimal wear at the folds. Poster should have no holes, tears, nor paper loss. Very Fine (8.0) A poster w bright colors and clean overall appearance. It may have minor general signs of use such as minor fold separation and wear. It may have pinholes or minor tears. The poster may be restored and put on linen. Fine (6.0) A poster w good colors and overall, still very presentable appearance. It may have tears, slight paper loss, pinholes and stains. It may have fold separation; it may have restoration. Very Good (3.5) A poster may be slightly brittle due to age, or it may have some paper loss and/or staining from tape, water, etc. The poster may have writing in an unobtrusive place. The poster may have some varying degree of restoration. Good (2.0) An average poster which may have tears, paper loss and a signficant degree of general age wear. It may have some color fading, stains, tape or tape stains, and be in need of restoration. It may have had significant restoration. Fair (1.0) A poster may have faded colors and/or brittle paper, showing significant signs of use. May have large tears and significant paper loss. May have tape, writing, stains in image area, in great need of restoration or had major restoration. Poor (0.5) A poster that is worn and/or
