On Wednesday, Feb. 9 at 10 a.m., Vintage Accents Auctions presents ?Far East Flair,? a sale of over 500 lots of Asian antiques, artifacts, and decorative accessories, including porcelain objects, fine furniture, artwork, carvings, textiles, and more. Featured Chinese porcelain lots include; a pair of decorated, blue & white lidded temple jars; a 19th C. blanc de chine figure of Buddhist monk Bodhidharma; and a pair of rouleau floor vases with scenes of woman and children playing. There is a variety of furniture, such as: a painted, black lacquered robe cabinet, with three interior shelves; an early 20th C. Tibetan polychrome painted chest; and a ?Kang? form low cabinet. A watercolor and ink scroll painting of lotus blossoms and sturgeon by Zhang Daqian and ?The Historical Story of Twenty-Four Filial Sons,? an early 20th C. book of watercolors will lead the selection of fine two-dimensional artwork.
