July Splendor 2022 - Day 3

On Sunday, the final day of our three-day auction, we offer important artwork by Winslow Homer, Andy Warhol, Andrew Wyeth, Jamie Wyeth, Kees Van Dongen, John Singer Sargent, Norman Rockwell, Tim Lawson, Bo Bartlett, and John Baeder; plus art photography by Yousuf Karsch and Richard Avedon. There will be fine sculptures, including works in bronze and carved stone, and folk art carvings by Gil Russell; plus selections of French clocks, Tiffany & Co. bronze desk items, and Russian decorative pieces. Additionally, we will present groups of custom, midcentury and contemporary furniture, including pieces by Eldred Wheeler, Philip & Kelvin Laverne, Maitland-Smith, Heywood Wakefield, Windsor Chairmakers/Jim Brown, and Stickley. Featured art glass will be a Loetz Phanomen vase and several Lalique vessels; and ceramics will include a KPM plaque, multiple lots of contemporary UK studio pottery, an Edwin & Mary Scheier bowl, plus Flora Danica, Sevres, and Rosenthal porcelain. A pair of Klipsch corner speakers will be sold, along with selections of musical instruments, Japanese artifacts, advertising items, important estate jewelry, fine silver, plus two early singing bird automatons. Bidding is available in person, by phone/absentee or online.
