Ding Jiqian, also named Futian (1875-?) born in Beijing. In 1901, the general manager of the Qing government office Wen Suo contributed 9000 taels silver, Ding Jiqian opened the Yanqing Hall (???) antique shop in Beijing Liulichang (???), operating the Ming and Qing Dynasty imperial kiln precious porcelains. Guangxu 26 years (1900), after being drained some imperial palace imperial porcelain, the rare and precious cultural relics of the Jehol Palace (????) has been stolen, Ding Jiqian sent people to Chengde, buy a lot of valuable imperial porcelain in the palace, one of the royal collection of Kangxi imperial cowpea red willow vase, langyaohong vase, Yongzheng kiln Famille rose, Doucai, etc. Ding Jiqian was bold, careful, and had the background of the internal affairs office. He was the first person who dared to do the Imperial Court porcelain business. Yanqing Hall (???) was famous at home and abroad, and became the first Liulichang (???) to identify and operate the Ming and Qing Court porcelain. In the early period of the Republic of China, Ding Jiqian had contacts with Xiong Xiling, Wang Shizhen and Liang Shiyi, who were officials in the imperial Academy of the Qing Court and then had important positions in the Republic of China. Yue Qianzhai, the manager of the Yanye Bank (????), was his good friend.
