Stevens Auction Company is pleased to announce the commission to sell at auction the extraordinary arsenal of weapons and antiquities of the late James Larry Bragg. Mr. Bragg, a direct descendant of Civil War General Braxton Bragg, was a true collector of historical military weapons, armor, and paraphernalia.

The premier highlights of this auction will be the weaponry in the Braggs collection, which is comprised of hundreds of historical armaments from the 11th and 12th centuries as well as weapons from more modern wars, such as WWI and WWII. This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to see first-hand the weapons used to arm soldiers from the time of the Crusades to the Korean War.

One of the quiet highlights of the auction will be Mr. Bragg's great library of hundreds and hundreds of books, including early poems, books on philosophy, war journals, and firearm references.
