This sale will offer an extensive single owner collection of Japanese shing-hanga woodblock prints over 40 lots including the likes of Kawase Hasui, Takahashi Shotei, Ito Yuhan, Ohara Koson and Nishimura Hodo. There is also a nice collection of over twenty Tibetan Buddhist artifacts on offer such as bronze statues and hand painted thangkas, all sourced from a Bay Area estate. The sale will feature a selection of sterling silver flatware as well as porcelain table services. Also to be offered will be an assortment of ethnographic art including Inuit soapstone sculpture, Native American baskets and blankets, among other items.
