We are thrilled to offer at unreserved auction the lifetime collection of William E. Lohrman of New Paltz, NY. Bill is considered an elder statesman and an unparalleled authority on Hudson Valley 18th and 19th century furniture. His passion for original surface, incised stoneware and rarities has created a collection that is highly regarded. Bill is a second generation antique dealer / collector. His exceptional reputation over the years allowed him to gain access to the many untouched historic homes in the Hudson Valley. Bill has decided to relinquish stewardship of his cherished collection so that others may enjoy these treasures as much as he enjoyed collecting and owning them.
Along with Bill?s collection of Americana, this auction will feature estate jewelry, sterling silver and swanky furnishings from the Estate of Richard Ryan?s, Eastside apartment, fine art, Orientalia from a Niskayuna collector, sculpture, etc.
Please note this auction will be held on Saturday !!
