Headlining the modern design is a rare and impressive 1972 Paul Evans Studio sculpted bronze cabinet. The line-up of furniture includes many of the 20th century's greatest icons: an Eames lounge chair, Eero Saarinen's Womb chair, a pair of Mies van der Rohe's Barcelona chairs, Alvar Aalto's Paimio chair, Harry Bertoia's Bird chair, and an Isamu Noguchi coffee table. Explore a wide variety of American designs by Adrian Pearsall, George Nelson, Edward Wormley, Warren Platner, Milo Baughman, Paul McCobb, and Harvey Probber, and Danish modern designs by Ib Kofod-Larsen, Kai Kristiansen, Niels Koefoed, Erik Buch, and Sven Ellekaer. Decorative arts include a large screen of Higgins glass Rondelays, as well as lamps, rugs, and assorted objects. Highlighting the contemporary and modern art is a 2003 suite of Allan McCollum graphite works entitled "The Recognizable Image Drawings," as well as two iconic Edward Weston photographs, "Pepper #30" and "Two Shells." Among the prints and multiples are works by Sol Lewitt, Robert Rauschenberg, Salvador Dali, Rene Magritte, Joel-Peter Witkin, Roger Shimomura, William Wiley, Peter Max, Victor Vasarely, Yaacov Agam, John Buck, Sabra Field, and Leonard Baskin.
