Dr. Philip Gould a distinguished Professor of Chinese Art at Columbia University and Sarah Lawrence College, was a passionate collector of tribal art, textile and artifacts from around the world. This collection from Dr. Gould has a wide variety of cotton and silk textiles, garments, and accessories featuring traditional techniques and craftsmanship from tribal regions in Taiwan, Bhutan, Indonesia, Vietnam, India, Cambodia, Myanmar, Laos, China, and Japan.
