By placing bids, all registered bidders in effect agree to the Terms and Conditions outlined herein. No exceptions will be made without prior agreed-to authorization from principles of Blue Moon Coins. Bidders with outstanding balances from prior auctions will be blocked from Bidding on BMC auctions. PHOTOGRAPHS AND DESCRIPTIONS Blue Moon Coins (BMC) believes to the best of its knowledge that the information presented in any listing has come from reliable sources. Such information is presented solely for the convenience of the Purchaser. Other than certified coins that have been professionally evaluated by third-party grading companies, BMC makes no warranties of any kind related to the information presented in any listing. BMC further makes no warranties, either express or implied, relating to the value, marketability or condition of the lot described in any listing. Prospective bidders should investigate a lot thoroughly before bidding. By bidding, the Bidder acknowledges that Bidder has investigated the lot to his or her satisfaction, or, that Bidder has chosen not to do so, and agrees to accept the lot being bid on with no objections after the sale closes. Any potential Bidder is invited to contact us with questions prior to bidding. If uncertainly remains after contact with us, please refrain from bidding. We want our Bidders to be completely happy with their winning lots. Though we try out best, photos contained in any listing of generic or duplicate lots may be stock presentations and not necessarily of the specific lot. APPRAISALS & APPRAISAL ESTIMATE Appraisals or evaluations provided are solely for the convenience of the Bidder and BMC makes no warranties of any kind relating to them. Appraisals may include valuations that reflect the full, highest retail price of the item in a specific geographic region, the item's insurance replacement value, or both. No price estimate or appraisal value should be considered to represent the investment or resale value of the item. Such values are to be solely based on the due diligence evaluation of the Bidder absent any estimate or appraisal value presented. High and low estimates are provided solely for comparison purposes and BMC makes no warranties of any kind relating to them. PLACEMENT AND ACCEPTANCE OF BIDS BMC is not responsible for slow Internet feeds, dropped feeds, or any technical issues. Bidding on any item indicates your acceptance of these Terms and Conditions and any terms announced for the particular auction at the time of sale whether bidding in person, through a representative, by phone, by Internet, or other absentee bid. You are responsible for all people bidding, for, under, in lieu and as a representative for the account named. Any and all bids made by a Bidder constitute irrevocable offers to purchase the lot at the maximum bid amount of the Bidder and may not be withdrawn by the Bidder under any circumstances. Unless a sale is announced as being "without reserve," BMC reserves the right to protect any reserve price by placing and advancing floor bids up to the amount of the reserve. Any bid entered by a Bidder shall be determined in the sole discretion of BMC to have exceeded or not to have exceeded any reserve. BMC may also place bids on behalf of any buyer or seller, bid for its own account or remove any lot from sale without notice at any time. Unless the auction of a lot is announced as absolute, BMC reserves the right to accept or reject any bid for any reason whatsoever, at any time before, during or subsequent to any auction. At the close and reconciliation of the auction, BMC shall determine the actual winning Bidder of each lot and may, in its sole discretion, reflect as sold to any lower Bidder any duplicate item that may be available at the Bidder's maximum bid on the lot. In the event of any dispute between Bidders, or in the event of doubt on BMC part as to the validity of any bid, BMC will have the exclusive final discretion to determine the successful Bidder, cancel the sale, award the lot to the next highest Bidder or Bidders or to re-offer and resell the lot in dispute, and BMC is not responsible for any errors or omissions in connection therewith. ALL DECISIONS on winning bidders are final and non revocable. In consideration of BMC's approval of the application of the Bidder to bid in BMC's auction, Bidder agrees to comply with and be specifically bound by the provisions of this paragraph. PAYMENT Invoicing: We require a valid email address for all bidders, as this is how we will deliver invoices. At close of auction, we will calculate your invoice, including shipping charges and applicable sales tax, and generate a PayPal invoice. This invoice will have your total amount due, but will not be itemized. We will send your itemized invoice from Live Auctioneers. Payment Options: If your balance is more than $1000, we ask that you call in and arrange to make a direct payment to our Chase bank account or pay by personal, business, or cashier?s check. We will deduct 1% from your total balance for doing so. For orders under $1000, we ask that you pay by PayPal invoice. SHIPPING We conduct business around the globe and we are able to ship anywhere, though some countries have customs issue which make shipping to them unfeasible. Hot spot shipping regions include: Eastern Europe, South America, South Africa, and Mexico. If you are from these regions and purchasing communicate with us throughout the auction so that we can assess what you are buying and whether it is likely to make it through customs in the country of delivery. Continental US: For individual coins and small batches of coins, we offer a flat rate shipping fee of $5.50 for the first item and $.50 per each additional item. Please allow three (3) to ten (10) days for shipping. Oversize, heavy, or bulky items may require additional shipping fees, and we will do our best to note this in individual lot descriptions. Our shipping department has been processing packages successfully for many years and understands the importance of keeping costs low, so we will always do our best to use the most cost-effective shipping platform without compromising safety and security. Shipments to Hawaii, Alaska, US Territories and Foreign Countries: Shipping and handling charges to these locations are higher and often require registry or express mail. The shipping carriers may also limit insurance coverage to foreign locations. We will ship items to foreign locations using the same classes of mail and additional postal services that we use to ship to US locations, to the extent that such services are available. It is the foreign Bidder?s responsibility to arrange alternate shipping arrangements or to secure additional insurance coverage if desired. Foreign Bidders are solely responsible for compliance with all export and import requirements of the items they purchase, both as their purchases leave the US and arrive in their home country. To the extent that BMC?s assistance is required to coordinate shipping, insurance, or customs matters, the labor cost incurred by BMC will be billed at $30 per hour. Damage Disclaimer: Our responsibility for damage to or loss of any lot ends once it has been turned over to the USPS or other shipping enterprise for delivery and/or packing. By bidding, the winning Bidder agrees that any and all claims for loss or damage to the lot will be handled solely through the insurance claims process or the carrier and acknowledges that insurance may be subject to deductibles or other limitations that are not the responsibility of BMC. TAXES Coins have been determined to be exempt from sales tax by Washington State. All other (non-coin) purchases are subject to the sales tax laws of Washington. Non-Washington State residents are exempt from Washington State sales tax. Dealers, museums, and other qualifying parties residing in the State of Washington may be exempt from Washington State sales tax, but it will be necessary for them to have a current reseller?s certificate on file at the corporate offices of Blue Moon Coins.
