Masterworks A Contemporary Glass Auction

An auction of contemporary glass works from the 1970s and beyond. Thursday April 25th, 2013 Preview 6:30-8:00 pm - Auction 8:00-9:30 pm Welcome to Habatat Galleries 11th International Masterworks Auction. This year we offer sculpture from several notable collections including Jean Claude Chapelotte who owned the Chapelotte Gallery from 1980 ? 2012. During that period he acquired some very special and very rare works for his private collection. Several of these works are represented in this auction. Tom Kully, a major Chicago collector, passed away in 2011. His interest in art ranged from a significant Asian collection to contemporary paintings and works in glass. The sculptures that are available in this auction are a testimony to his extraordinary eye and understanding of how glass relates to the fine arts. Another early collector, whose love of art led him and his wife to develop a substantial collection, was Sol Iwrey (1926 - 1993) and his wife Sylvia. This auction features several early works from their collection. Please review the images, and the auction terms and conditions in the catalogue. We would be happy to send additional images upon request. Our condition reports are accurate and we are available for any questions that you might have. -The Staff of Habatat Galleries
