Cleveland Fall Auction: Fine & Decorative Art

Cowan's Auctions Inaugural Cleveland Sale will take place on September 6, 2014 at Cowan's new Cleveland location. This auction will mark the first of many for Cowan's in the Cleveland area. Cowan's Cleveland salesroom is located at 26801 Miles Road, Warrensville Heights, OH 44128. The sale will include over 350 lots and will be held at Cowan's Auctions? salesroom. The auction will feature Cincinnati and Kentucky paintings, fine groupings of 19th and 20th century Western Art, Georgian silver, inkwells, rugs, American and Continental furniture, glass, works on paper, bronzes and sculptures. Highlighted items in the sale include a painting by George Henry Bogert titled ?The Close of Day,? estimated at $3,000/5,000, a Handel Painted Lamp is expected to bring $4,000/5,000, and a Rebecca Emes and Edward Barnard Sterling Tea and Coffee Service is estimated at $3,000/5,000.
