New Collectors Art

Following on from the successful June auction which featured a sale total in excess of $350 000, ART+OBJECT present their third New Collectors art auction of 2014. The catalogue is notable for the inclusion of around 50 mezzotints, engravings and etchings from the collection of well-known Wellington artists Tanya Ashken and John Drawbridge. The majority of their collection was compiled in Europe and features prints by Henri Matisse, Pablo Picasso, Andre Dunoyer de Segonzac, Francisco Goya, Paul Cezanne and many more. Another highlight of the catalogue is another private Wellington collection which includes original works by Philip Clairmont, Don Binney, Ralph Hotere, Nigel Brown, Allen Maddox and Marilyn Webb.
