The first 27 coin lots are from the Collection of Robert L. Coe of Waterbury, Connecticut. Mr. Coe was the President of Chase Brass and Copper Company. He served as Special Envoy to England for the Economic Cooperation Administration, the government agency created in 1948 to administer the Marshall Plan. Jewelry, session one, immediately follows coins, as sales at Rago have so increased in volume and quality that we have added a Friday session this December. Friday?s jewelry sale includes coin jewelry, charms, charm bracelets, rings, neck chains; Victorian pieces including mourning jewelry, cameos, lockets, lavalieres, brooches, pearls, and more. Many are multiple piece lots, perfect for dealers, collectors, and gift-givers (just in time for the holidays).
