Vintage Jewellery & Accessories - Day One

We would like to make you aware that due to the amount of lots this auction is split over two days, lots 1-995 on Monday the 27th April which will take all day and lots 996-1535 on Tuesday the 28th April, which should fi nish early afternoon. On day one there are some beautiful designer Arts and Crafts pieces, including an enamel Child and Child dove pendant with diamond and pearl detail accompanied by the original maker?s case, the design of which is believed to have been inspired by the designs of Sir Edward Burne-Jones. Also a stunning silver and opal doublet bracelet attributed to Rhoda Wager, who is one of the best known ?Australian? Arts and Crafts jewellers, as she was born and trained in Britain but moved to Australia in 1918, so her Jewellery provides a strong link with the English Arts and Crafts movement. A rare rumanite amber bead necklace is a very interesting lot among a selection of some other great amber pieces too.
