Exceptional pieces include a bronze death mask of Napoleon, Japanese armor, an extraordinary collection of 15 tipstaffs from a Miami estate, all collected in the 70's and 80's. Swords dating from the 10th through 19th centuries, including two river-find Viking swords. A rare, one of two known, daguerreotype of Washington Irving of Sunnyside, NY famous for the Leatherstocking Tales and other literary works of the 19th century.
