May 7 - Estate Auction

Michaan's May property travels from jades to dragons, taking turns into Cairo by the water to prophecies uttered by an original Zoltar Fortune Teller machine. The Jewelry Department often features a variety of quality stones and certified jadeite jade. Select Asian works of art have also been chosen for Michaan's monthly sales, with fine jade carvings, porcelains and scrolls often seen at auction. Commonly held among Fine Art offerings are paintings and sculpture. The Furniture & Decorative Arts section regularly includes period decor and furniture. Highlights for the month of May include jade earrings that fuse a traditional arabesque pattern with modern jewelry design, a striking Japanese bronze of a dragon, the lively Louis Vogt watercolor "Cairo" and a speaking Zoltar Fortune Teller machine.
