Donated Estate Charity Auction

ReStore Collection Auction The ReStore Collection auction features original and signed works of art from noted artists, an eclectic mix of antique, mid-century and high value furniture, and lighting fixtures and treasured collectibles. Individuals and estate sellers have generously donated these items in an effort to help Morris Habitat for Humanity fulfill its mission of building and rehabilitating homes in partnership with local families in need. While we are not experts in appraising high value items, we do take the time to research donations and similar items in order to determine an appropriate starting price and to provide bidders with as much historical information as possible. Please feel free to email us directly at donations@ReStoreCollection.com for more detailed information about any of our items and we will respond quickly. An affiliate of Habitat for Humanity International, Morris Habitat for Humanity is a nonprofit housing agency dedicated to providing decent, affordable housing for low-income families in Morris County and the surrounding New Jersey area. Through volunteer labor and donations of money and materials, Morris Habitat has served 280 households since 1985 with home ownership opportunities, home preservation, and international home building programs. Operated by Morris Habitat for Humanity, the ReStore sells donated building supplies, appliances and furniture at huge savings off normal retail costs. Proceeds from our ReStore, opened May 2007, have built 18 homes and diverted over 5,100 tons of useable material out of landfills. In the next five years, Morris Habitat plans on building an additional 80 units, preserving 40 homes and serving over 200 families through its homebuilding and preservation programs. Volunteer visits will total over 45,000, and our ReStore activity will keep another 3000 tons of reusable items out of landfills while providing funding to support these building efforts.
